Was the virgin birth a demonstration of the great power of God? Does a virgin birth show us that Jesus' birth was a prophetic miracle? These two views are often referenced by many as the primary reason for this strange and awesome phenomena. We will not take time to confront the flimsy historical evidence of other alleged virgin births (such as Mary's according to some sources). Oddly, some believe that other virgin births somehow affirm the truth of Jesus’ birth.
